April Meeting

Our April meeting was great. We had a presentation from Jackie and Glenda about a trip they took to Paducah, Ky last year.  I really want to go there some day and I really enjoyed this presentation...Thanks guys.

Here's Super Jackie to the rescue!  Yeah, I had to do it, cute picture.

Here's some Show and tell from our members. Hmm, I wonder who didn't want to show their face on this one?  Uh, Ruth, is that you?  Ruth and Jessica are making more community service quilts, how are you doing?

Here's a Baby Brick quilt from Sharon, ready for binding.

This is another of Sharon's quilts.

Love the backing fabric!

Sharon's Bento block quilt.

Sharon bought this one from a girl in the Modern Quilt Guild.

Here's the back.

Karen showed us this one...

Here's the backing for the quilt above.  I really like scrappy backs.

This one is a card trick quilt made by Nancy.

This little cutie belonged to her son. She used it as a pattern and made the new one for her new grandbaby...

Here's my Civil War swap quilt.

Diane showed this one.

These are all made by Rita for community service.

These beauties belong to Daphne H.  Aren't they lovely?

And this one too is Daphne's.

Rosemarie's Wheel of Fortune quilt.

This one was found by Rosemarie in her attic.

A bag that is made from one yard of fabric. Helen learned this one from retreat.

Helen made this beauty.

This one is a new BOM at Thomas Sewing Center.

Linda B made this flag for her grandson...Pretty cool, huh?

Our members are so talented, I think this group is wonderful and I enjoy every meeting.  See you next month!  Be sure and bring all of your show and tell!
