The cute Cathedral Window Pincushion

Martha showed some cute little pincushions she made last week.  She gave us the link to these little pincushions. If you click on the link below it will take you there for some great directions.  Have fun!

Our Fun May Meeting

Our May meeting was so much fun! I think the Program was a big success!  It was fun to listen and learn the different methods of applique.  If you missed the meeting, you missed some great info!

Let me start off by showing you the wonderful Mug Rugs this month.

This month the theme was circles or dots...Not pizza, not frisbees, what was the other one?  I forget, but Carolee's husband was very cute with his guesses!

I liked all of the Mug Rugs and we are seeing lots of inspiration. Next month the theme is birds!  Let's see what you guys can do with that!

Here's some show and tell from our members...

This one is from our new member, Diana.

Here's Bev's Floating Four Patch (sorry for the terrible picture!). She quilted this at retreat and it is beautiful!

Here's some of Sharon's Pam Bono blocks.  Pam Bono is the guest speaker this year for the TAQG rally day on July 14th.

Another Pam Bono block done by Sharon.

Sharon made this one. Big modern squares.

This one was done by Judy.  Cute fabric panel and the other fabric was so cute, Judy had to keep some!

This month you will be seeing alot of projects that were worked on at retreat.  We have so much fun and even learn a few things. Here are some of the projects that were worked on there.
We made friendship blocks for Rita a few years ago.  She added to them and finished putting this one together.

Sandy learned how to make this big hand work pillow at retreat. This is her second one.  The one at retreat was black and white....

Sandy made this bucket too.  So cute!

Glenda made this Christmas present quilt at retreat.

Helen worked on her Civil War quilt at retreat. This was Barbara Brackman's block of the week last year. Every Saturday a different block was given on her website. Helen saw a picture and worked out this setting for her quilt. This is beautiful....

I had other pictures to show you but I could not recover them.  I had tried to make a video of the program but it ate up my battery and the space on my camera. When I switched memory cards, the memory card took the pictures but won't let me do anything with them.  I think the card is damaged...so for all the ladies that showed their quilts last month and you do not see your quilt in the pictures, I apologize.  Please don't be mad or hurt, I didn't intentionally leave your pictures out.

I have been trying all month to get this done but have finally given up.  Hopefully, this won't happen again.  I have a new memory card now. Thank you for understanding....So, our next meeting in next week, so see you then.
