November meeting

Our speaker this month was from the Vogel Alcove. She was very informative.  The Vogel Alcove helps homeless children and families and each child receives a quilt.  Diane made this one and gave to her,

Also, laying on the table are star blocks for the church quilt...great job, ladies.

I did not make this one but I finished it and gave to her.

Now for some Show and Tell from our members....

This one is for Cathy D's  grandchild.  The French Rose pattern...love it.

Cathy B did this one and it is a Sue Spargo pattern....

I did this one. It was a kit made up by the guild and it is for the quilts for kids charity. I'm not sure what charity will get it but I hope a child will like it...

This is Diana's cute veggie cats quilt.

Here's one that Lori made.

She made this out of minky fabric and it's not a quilt, it is a car seat cover...

The back of the cover.

This is another one of her projects.

Judy's working on boots again!

Here's the center star of the project.   Love the colors!

Linda B. has been busy making quilts for her grandsons.

Here's some Dresden plates she's been working on too.

Kim made this for a graduation gift...I love these big hexies and the colors are great.

This one is Irene's Round robin all finished. It was hand quilted.  Lovely.

Last but not least, here is a cute project from Sharon H.

Ok, ladies, I hope each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.  Next month, we will have our Christmas party.  If you didn't sign up, please check with Bev to see what still needs to be brought.  Also, don't forget to bring your church block and give to Mary G and your mitten block to give to Diana of Annalee.  Get busy and get some projects finished and bring to show us next month.  Happy stitching and happy Turkey Day!
