Having fun at retreat and some great projects

Retreat time in Celeste. There were alot of great projects worked on.  Glenda was the first to finish several....It was so much fun to see what everyone was working on.

Karen did a UT quilt.

This is Marsha's beautiful quilt. I love the colors on this one.

Look at this cute one.  This one is from Sandy for one of her grandbabies.  So sweet.

Marsha made these cute hexagon mug rugs.

Marsha brought this cute pin cushion with her and I really need this pattern.

Alot of us were working on the scrappy pineapple blocks.

This one is a quilt Karissa was working on.

Yes, Darla is in the picture but it is Glenda's quilt.

Jackie worked on her pineapple quilt and put brown sashings with black cornerstones.

See, I told you it was Glenda's quilt. Here it is with the borders on it.  The yellow looks great. Click on the picture and see it bigger and you can tell.

This is a lovely quilt Darla did.  I love this one too.  I'm a blue and yellow fan.

Bev did this one. We did an exchange on this and she brought it to put together at retreat.  I love this. I gotta get busy and do mine.  I found this on Pinterest and fell in love with it.

Here's one of Linda's community service quilts she worked on.

I told you Jackie put brown sashing but she also put black cornerstones.  Great looking quilt.

Marsha made these bags.

      This is Deanna's Bargello quilt.

Linda B. made these blocks to represent Minecraft, the game.

This is one of Sharon's.

Willie made this cute community service quilt

Karissa wrote these directions down for someone but she didn't remember who asked for them.....Hopefully, you can see what it says.

Sharon gave us a bag class at retreat and here's the first group of bags that were made.

Some closeups of the bags

Here's the second group of bags that were made.

Some more closeups.

If you didn't go to retreat you really missed a great time.  I had a blast but didn't get as much done as I wanted.   Too much to do and not enough time or energy to get it all done.  Celeste is a wonderful retreat center. The food is good and the massage therapist, Samantha is wonderful too.  Gotta go and make more bags now.  Gotta get ready for Christmas.  Til next time, happy stitching.
